Who are the best remaining NBA free agents?


NBA free agency began well over a month ago. It has been a shockingly quiet offseason for the most part. Most teams have made small to limited transactions during the seven week time span. While most teams seem done making moves, there are still various high profiled NBA free agents left on the market. For starters, there are four total restricted free agents, who remain unsigned. Those players include 76ers Quentin Grimes, Warriors Jonathan Kuminga, Bulls Josh Giddey and Nets Cam Thomas. All four players previous team can match any team’s free agency offer. Each of these four rising stars have their own individual pros worthy of a new contract signing. They provide various skill sets including shooting passing, which could help impact a a contending teams. The contract time length and price will dictate if these restricted free agent stays with their current teams or leave via sign & trade. There are also various restricted free agents, who remain unsigned. Several of these unsigned restricted free agents are considered veterans of the game. These unsigned veterans include Malcolm Brogdon, Ben Simmons, Russell Westbrook, Alec Burks, De’Anthony Melton and Al Hordford. It is best believed that all of these remaining free agents will eventually sign a veteran minimum contract. There will be playoff ready contenders in need of a veteran with playoff experience and past accomplishments. So what will happen during the rest of the offseason? Will these free agents find new homes in free agency? The NBA 2025-2026 season will begin in a little more than two months from now.
